Wein cafeThe Cita Commercial centre is a very popular stop off place for gays returning from the sandunes in Winter and all go to the Wein cafe on the upper level ato the rear of the centre. In the winter Gay high season arrive a little too late and you will have to queue to get in
On the gay side this is not the case in the low season, especially around May and June when the gay venues are virtually dead. Many close around this time of the year for holidays or even for a longer period. The high season is in winter and the mid season at UK annual holiday period around July to September.

During the off peak seasons the Cita is very quiet, this is unfortunate because there are some good friendly gay bars, but the quiet underground passage ways are dingy, seedy and very run dow, especialy outside empty units. This makes the area a little scary. The best way to reach the gay section of the underground level is by the ramp near the kids playground on Av. de Francia. This entrance avoids most of the passageways. Gay Bars
